So I finally received my February Vellvette Box after almost everyone had received it. Well it was kind of worth the wait. I’m pretty happy with the contents.
This happens to be my first Velvette Box. I have wanted to subscribe for the Velvette Box for a pretty long time and this month I finally decided to give it a try. And yes I’m going to subscribe for the next three months now.
Here are the contents of the box:
1) Figs & Rouge Aloe and Mint Balm : Full Size
2) Purely Pro Blush – Lovely : Full Size
3) Ofra Kiwi Cleanser : Sample Bottle
Almost everyone one has got the same products. I’m quite happy that they’ve included 2 full sized products.
The box also had a Be My Vellvettine Fridge Magnet. It’s cute but a little cheesy. I’d have liked a plain heart fridge magnet cos come on I can’t put this on my fridge.
Even though I’ve not heard of any of the brands, I’m pretty happy with the products.
The Figs & Rouge Aloe and Mint balm is a multi purpose balm which I really like. This is something I’d love to carry in my purse all the time. I just hope it doesn’t melt during summers.
The Blush shade is just perfect for my complexion and it looks lovely on my skin. I’m very glad that the blush is not glittery, as i’m not very comfortable with shimmery blushes. And this also happens to be my first blush. I’ve never tried blushes before cos of acne and I was just thinking of getting a blush and the Vellvette Box team have sent one. Happy
The cleanser turned out to be a little disappointing. I’ve filled the form and mentioned my skin type as oily and they’ve sent me a cleanser suitable for normal to dry skin. But since Bangalore’s climate is making my skin a little dry these days this would work out well. Summers are coming and I hope next time they send me products suitable for my skin type.
Also not happy with the discount coupons cos they don’t accept these while subscribing for the Vellvette Box.
Overall I’m pretty happy with my first Velvette Box. And I’m glad that all the products would come very much in use.
So what did you get in your Vellvette Box?
